Had a great weekend with the Murphy family. They so generously opened their home and yard to all of us for a weekend long celebration. Lots of fun and fellowship was had. We had a beautiful night of camping on Friday followed by some tent mischief on Saturday morning. Many fish were caught and time was enjoyed relaxing Saturday on the boat and in the hammocks. Saturday night after a late movie - that most of us slept though - we had an adventurous night. We started out around 12:30 all adjourning to the tents only to make a mad dash for the garage around 1:30 when the rain and lightning started. Michelle, Nathan and I even managed to collapse and move in 2 of the tents before most of the rain came. YEAH for us; the rain didn't get the best of us THIS time!! We didn't have to set them up again later to let them dry!! :) We then crept into a nice cool, dry house to finish our slumber! Murph's Turf camping is definitely the place to be. Never camped anywhere else that the ranger would gladly open their home for campers to escape the rain! (We also enjoyed the newest member of the Reyna family, Ryan - an 18 wk old lab mix. What a sweet disposition. Poor guy was so tired by Sunday. So many people - especially kids - and so much excitement!
Wow, looks like you guys had a great holiday. I love family camping trips. We are going in a couple weeks. I can't wait. The kids are adoable. Poor little Caleb in the last post. He is super cute with his cast though. Have a good week.

ReplyDeleteI still am thinking that the past six weeks are a really bad dream and I just haven't woke up. To see these pictures of Dad who would have thought we would be saying good bye to him a month later.
